STRATEGIC PLANNING

 

Before entering the journey of product development or the process of updating an existing product, there are many considerations and decisions to be made. Relevant information is the key to success.

 

We benchmark ideas, analyze them by different views and develop their scope by looking at hard facts. These facts will be the base of pre-studies and feasibility studies that can be used as input for market requirement directives (MRD) and business plans.

 

We believe in closing the gap between end consumer and product development, but also improving the critical internal link between management - sales - design – productions. A good and regular exchange of information makes the product more likely to succeed.

Identifying a goal does not automatically lead the project there,

Running a development project is a challenge for all participants, where even the small practical details in a workflow have huge impact on time and cost. We have long experience of iterative processes and document administration and in the difficulties that can emerge.

 

 But project phases, toll gates and their documentation (specifications, FMEA, life cycle analysis, etc) are all just parts of the bigger picture.

There must be a roadmap that guides the usage of such tools

towards the project goal.

In a good performing development team, everyone contributes in some way to the final result. Therefore we put extra effort into combining the appropriate competences in a team. A group composition with a broad view and different experiences makes the overall project risk lower since more perspectives are covered.

 

Being independent helps us to look at the process in an objective way without any predetermined point of view. This setup is especially relevant for us when selecting partners or making supplier audits.
